In recent days, articles have been circulating in the media by citizens and journalists, proponents of universal vaccination, who invoke a sense of social responsibility, the need for trust in the data of the scientific community and who urge everyone to work together to overcome the epidemic.

Some of them resorted to extreme characterizations and extremely provocative comments that need be addressed to the Committee on Journalist Ethics, both for their style and content. These journalists should be ashamed of the way they express themselves in public and the media that presents them are also responsible because they do not seem to make the necessary effort to maintain a decent level.

No mention of the importance of natural immunity that many doctors recommend, no mention of other treatments such as T lymphocyte therapy discovered in Thessaloniki or monoclonal antibodies, no mention of the fact that there is no pharmaceutical company, doctor or other person in charge, ready to take liability in writing, no reference to the heavy history of lawsuits against the vaccine manufacturers, and generally, no reference to the side effects (thrombosis, myocarditis, etc.) and deaths caused by these vaccines in many countries, including Cyprus.

The scientific conflict of opinion is a fact, with thousands of notable scientists around the world opposing mass vaccination without denying the existence of a pandemic or the effectiveness of other vaccines in the past. Yet some of their colleagues here in Cyprus describe the views of scientists such as Luc Montagnier, Giannis Ioannidis and Sucharit Bhakdi as “unscientific”.

I would like to ask a question to the proponents of vaccines who express themselves publicly with aggression and disrespect: do you really think you are dealing with people of lower intelligence, “sprayed” as you call them, when you say all this? Do you think that others cannot quote data from research and studies of renowned scientists who disagree vertically with the narrative presented to us in the last 18 months? Or do you think that only you have had access to education and for some reason you think you can deprive other rational beings of the right to think critically, beings who also happen to have education.

In addition to the above, it seems that the issue of human rights and freedoms exists as a decorative element in international and European conventions and constitutions, an ornament that is crumbling on the altar of public health and so-called social responsibility. But those who cite these two, forget that the mental health factor of individuals in a society is an important part of public health which is irreparably shaken when the state imposes a kind of Apartheid segregation to people and when it forces citizens and children into daily medical actions against their will. They also forget that a shattered economy also contributes to a weakened mental health of citizens.

For 200,000 years the Homo Sapiens has not only survived a series of hardships, wars, famines, deadly epidemics and natural disasters, he has managed to evolve and grow over the centuries to the point where some academics speak of overpopulation. In fact, methods of reducing the population have been argued in books, articles and presentations supported by the most famous universities in the world.

Wars, accidents, cancer and other epidemics have claimed millions of lives on our planet but no one has implemented solutions to them. No one has banned the manufacture of weapons, no one has built cars with low speed limits, no one has closed down the tobacco industry and there are carcinogens even in food. Popular ice creams containing ethylene oxide, a substance that increases the likelihood of developing cancer in the long run, were recently withdrawn from the Cypriot market.

Life carries serious risks for countless and often unpredictable causes. In the scenario where all of humanity is being vaccinated against sars-cov-2, there will be thousands of other causes of death or fatal injury that cost the lives of more than 50 million people a year worldwide.

Never in history has a vaccine been imposed on all of humanity. It would not be possible to accept such a reality with absolute reverence and without resistance. We should have been irrational animals if we didn’t have doubts regarding how a formulation created within a few months, and without final approval, may be compatible with the bodies of 7.8 billion people living under completely different conditions throughout the planet. If we were to fall into such a delusion without asking reasonable questions, then it would mean that we have lost our critical thinking ability, a key element of human intelligence.

There can be no blind trust in either governments that are proven to be corrupt, or in global monopolies. Not even in science, because science makes mistakes too. Thousands perished due to medical malpractice and misdiagnosis. Do you remember the five patients who lost their sight a year ago and almost lost their lives after an infection during surgery at a private hospital in Cyprus?

For the past 18 months our intelligence has received as much humiliation and criticism as never before. This criticism is not going to convince people to get vaccinated. Coupons and tips, subsidized vacation packages and pressure from the state and other stakeholders with personal interests, only succeed in violating the freedom of choice, tempting, misleading and creating further confusion. I wonder if the medical community agrees with such practices.

What has happened is that millions of people succumbed to their will and got vaccinated, after a protracted global advertising campaign, accompanied by workplace blackmail, deprivation of basic rights and freedoms, and an unprecedented social divide. Too many have done this knowing that the numbers and case fatality rates are still low for the vulnerable and almost zero for the young. However, the enormous pressure that is being exerted today, even on parents to vaccinate their children, leads many to do so against their will.

It is the right of every person to get the vaccine, and it is not at all reprehensible, particularly to those in vulnerable groups. Now they are urging people for a third dose because the data has changed and they will soon talk about a booster dose every year. However, the vaccinated have also become ill as they can carry and transmit the virus. This was reported by doctors and by the media. However, vaccinated people move freely, without being tested and transmitting the virus to healthy unvaccinated people. Some media outlets misleadingly referred to an “epidemic of the unvaccinated”, as propaganda on the subject has now become part of our lives.

Those who were vaccinated were vaccinated to protect themselves. Those who show disrespect to the choice of their fellow human beings to not be vaccinated while at the same time sell us the tale that they were vaccinated to protect others, they underestimate our intelligence. They were vaccinated to save themselves and to return to a normality that will essentially never exist again as we knew it.
